Joy in the Harvest is the community organization established as Non-Government Organization based in Kigoma region in Tanzania with aim of helping the society to become better. In 1994 Joy in the Harvest was established and began to provide its services.
The main purpose of Joy in the Harvest is to help the society to become better place by helping the society to improve the environment around them so they can achieve their goal. Joy in the Harvest works to reduce poverty within the community, building capacity to youth to employee themselves, creating awareness on health reproductive, also to ensure that the community has equality when it comes to gender. Developing and empowering society to become better is what Joy in the Harvest does.
Joy in the harvest has a lot of the project which influence the society to become better, In 2016 Joy in the harvest started a Radio station which called RADIO JOY FM, through Radio station Joy in the harvest reached large number of people and become voice of the voiceless.
Not only that also Joy in the Harvest support community by supporting education by providing funds to the poor children to continue with their studies.
