RDP Uganda is a civil society organization that works to enhance advocacy, youth voices and participation in governance, policy and development process. RDP Uganda’s wide strategy of work focuses on empowerment of marginalized population – youth, women, children among others to proactively promote a spirit of working together and contributing towards good governance, informed decision making and national development through enhancing their effective participation, meaningful and constructive engagement and dialogue.

Our Goal

Youth empowered to actively participate in the policy and decision-making processes on social, political and economic issues in the selected districts of the Mid West, central and Northern parts of Uganda thereby contributing to improved livelihoods, social justice and upholding of rights.

Mission

RDP Uganda`s Mission is To proactively facilitate a participatory process and platform for young people to assert their role and visibility in governance, policy making/influence and development process through structured and constructive dialogue and engagement, policy advocacy and lobby

Core Values are: Equity, popular participation, inclusiveness, honesty and integrity, Gender sensitivity, Action learning and knowledge generation, respect for rule of law & Belief young people’s potential, and accountability
