Peace Builders Coalition is a youth-led peace building organisation located in Ntungamo district southwestern Uganda.
The organisation undertakes public policy research and advocacy to influence young people to meaningfully participate in leadership and peace building processes at community level.
The organisation runs four programs that includes youth and peace building, entrepreneurship, environmental conservation and inclusive education. PBC was born on efforts to mobilize youth in Uganda to meaningfully contribute to peace-building and sustainable developments and these efforts were as result of coalition for action on 1325-COACT to increase young people’s contribution to leadership, democracy and peace-building processes. Through research and advocacy, PBC works with local level leaders and community structures to promote inclusiveness, mediation, leadership and peaceful co-existence among youth in Uganda.
We envision an inclusive peaceful world and our mission is to empower communities particularly youth and women to take responsibility for their peace in Uganda and across the world.
