NED is a Congolese non-profit association based in Ituri. It has a charitable and humanitarian vocation and works mainly with young people, children, and the most vulnerable people in society to ensure their well-being.

It achieves these objectives through a diversity of activities and projects in its field of action and through the assistance of young volunteers and passionate about peace and development in the province of Ituri and the DRC. NED:

• Supports the indigent, orphans, and vulnerable children in the province of Ituri,
• Promotes the moral, intellectual, cultural and sports development of all youth through its activities,
• Initiates young people and all members of the community to the practice of agriculture and animal husbandry as well as the protection of the environment,
• Favors and promotes the culture of peace, reconciliation, peaceful conflict resolution through evangelization among other methods,
• Promotes the learning of various practical trades and international languages to the members of the community,
• Fight against contagious diseases, gender-based violence and all forms of banditry and juvenile delinquency.
