New Light Children Centre Organization

New Light Children Centre Organization (NELICO) is a Non Profit, Non-Governmental Organization registered under the Non-Governmental Organizations Act No. 24 of 2002 on 28th March 2006 and awarded with registration certificate No. 00NGO/0739. Starting of the organization was motivated with the desire to address the issues of Gender based violence, Gender equality, Child rights and safeguarding, and HIV/AIDS. Since 2006, NELICO has supported the government of Tanzania in different levels to improve/advance quality education, child protection, youth and women empowerment, reduction of Gender Based Violence, and provision of free legal aid services.

NELICO is working in the following regions Geita, Mwanza, Simiyu, and Shinyanga respectively
