MWANGAZA Social Behaviour Change Communication Organisation

MWANGAZA was formed in 2002 as CBO Community Based Organization and officially was registered NGO Non making Profit, Non Religions and Non-Tribal, working in Tanzania Mainland with No.00NGO/R/054 on 15.07.2019; its main office is at Katente Ward at Uhamiaji Street in Bukombe District-Geita Region.

The NGO mainly deals with, providing community Sensitization services in overcoming the challenges mainly health challenges (diseases- HIV/AIDS, Malaria, and sexual transmitted diseases), Nutrition challenges, Environmental conservation campaigns and family planning.

In its operation, has been collaborating with other Development Organizations, Institutions particularly in Community sensitization on prevention of diseases mainly HIV/AIDS. The organization is now closely working with others organizations by uniting all Stakeholders in the District so that they share experience, skill mitigating measures at all issues relating to education on health, Soil Conservation, peoples’ livelihood (food security, good governance and nutritional) targeting to reduce poverty to surrounding people.

To empower the society to create positive change through community-based solutions and have improved access to entrepreneurship skills, human rights protection, healthcare and livelihood through support and empowerment.
