Mouvement International de la Jeunesse d’Afrique

The International Youth Movement of Africa (MIJA in acronym) is a peaceful youth structure created in March 2007 in Goma with the objective of setting up a high framework of exchange, listening, support and conscientization of the African youth for the development and an eventual self-empowerment in order to look for sustainable solutions to the evils that plague Africa in general and the Democratic Republic of Congo in particular.

We are established in the great North Kivu and most of the activities are undertaken in this part, with representations in all the territories of the Great North and in the city of BENI, currently represented in the province of tshopo (kisangani), City of kinshasa and in the province of tanganyika in kalemie.

The office of the head office of the International Movement of the Youth of Africa is located in the city of BUTEMBO at number 30 of the street Julien Paluku, ex rue KINSHASA, in the KIMEMI commune.

Our approach is based on the impulse of the young people in the actions of promotion of the social values through an education to peace and the improvement of the local governance.
